My Portfolio Design

GPM Digital Concepts is my personal portfolio website designed to showcase my work in UX/UI design, web development, and brand design. The website serves as a central hub where recruiters, clients, and collaborators can explore my projects, understand my design thinking, and view my skills through real, practical examples.

Overview

The portfolio was designed with a clean, modern, and user-centered approach, reflecting my personal brand and design philosophy. Each section is intentionally structured to guide visitors through my work, from high-level overviews to case studies, while maintaining visual consistency and ease of navigation across devices.

Purpose

  • Create a strong first impression for job and internship applications
  • Present projects in a structured, story-driven way rather than just final visuals
  • Showcase both technical and design skills in one cohesive space
  • Build a flexible platform that can grow as I add new projects

Research

Audience & Industry Focus

I conducted research focused on UX/UI design within the finance, e-commerce, and healthcare industries, targeting employers and recruiters in these fields. Secondary audiences included design mentors, creative directors, and collaborators who value accessible, user-centered, and scalable digital experiences.

Competitive Analysis Insights

To better understand user expectations and common pain points, I analysed digital products across different industries, including Disney+, EskomSePush, and the PlayStation App.

Logo Design

My full name curves around the top of the circle, establishing personal authenticity and professional ownership. The symbol is a direct reference to UX/UI design, coding, and digital creation. It visually connects creativity and technology. The circle represents connection, continuity, and collaboration and the words at the bottom describe my focus area in a clean and timeless way.
